S-9074-AQ-GIB-010/248, MIL-STD-1688A (SH), AWS D1.1, AWS D1.2, AWS D1.6, AWS D14.3, AWS D1.5, AWS B2.1, ASME Section IX and ABS
• On staff welding and design engineers.

Inspection Capabilities:
Certified Level III ASNT-VT, MT and PT Two AWS CWI’s Level II VT, MT, PT with UT inspection
• Universal has extensive training and experience with ASNT-TC-1A, MIL-STD-T9074-AS-GIB010/271, AWS and MIL-STD-410
• Universal utilizes an ISO 9000 compliant, in-process inspection system through company wide ERP software (JobBOSS) to ensure accuracy and customer’s specific requirements.

Machining Capabilities:
• 5” Spindle boring bars - 78” vertical x 84” x 78” table travel equipped with rotary table
• 40” diameter turning capability, 240” between centers
• Overhead crane lifting capability of 10 tons and mobile crane/forklift capacity of 20,000 lbs.

Transportation Capabilities:
Universal has the ability to pickup and deliver product with our own transportation equipment.
• Semi-Tractor Unit with Flatbed Trailer with a 45,000 lb capacity
• Detachable LoBoy Trailer with a 45,000 lb capacity
• Tandem Straight Truck with Rollback Bed and a capacity of 20,000 lbs
